At this moment the water system is one of the latest technologies that is used for tulip cultivation. In the closed system the water is recycled every time, but not before it has been cleaned by fine filters to remove small organic residue and by UV disinfection to eliminate possibly present bacteria. The used water is rainwater that is collected from the greenhouse roof.
The bulbs that we force on water are planted on the newest trays. We ourselves have been very much involved in its development, together with some other colleagues, as well as Agrifirm and manufacturer Beekenkamp.
Considering everything we can say that a very unique product has been developed of which the branch has high expectations.
